Aldo Junior Simoncini

Aldo Junior Simoncini ( born August 30, 1986 in San Marino) is a football player from San Marino.

Association

Simoncini began his career in 2004 at FC Modena, was there not, however, to train and, after just one season for AC Rimini. Even this he left again after a year and signed a contract with his hometown club San Marino Calcio. 2009 then stood at the next change to Italy for AC Bellaria Igea Marina. After 2 years and 44 league games he was then obliged by the Serie A club AC Cesena, in this he wore the number 86. He was, however, only the second goalkeeper behind Francesco Antonioli. 2012 he moved to his home back to AC Libertas.

Special matches

He played the European Championship 2008 qualifying match against Germany. Despite an unusual training method ( in preparation scored his goalkeeping coach with tennis balls on him to get him used to the quick shots of the Germans), he conceded 13 goals and was thus involved in the worst defeat of the mini-state.
