Aleix Espargaró

Aleix Espargaró Villà ( born July 30, 1989 in Granollers ) is a Spanish motorcycle racer.

His younger brother Pol Espargaró is also motorcycle racer.

Career

After Espargaró had until then as the youngest rider won the Spanish 125cc Championship, he played in 2004 on Honda 's first race in the Motorcycle World Championship. Followed in 2005 by the first full season at Seedorf RC3 Racing Team, which he finished with 36 points at No. 16. The next season he started with the BQR Racing Team again in the 125cc class and moved to six races as successor to the retiring Sebastián Porto at the 250cc Repsol Honda Team into. The seasons of 2007 and 2008 Blusens Aprilia Germany finished at Lotus Aprilia Espargaró on the 15th or twelfth.

In 2009, he got no fixed place more in the World Cup. He worked as a test driver for a Moto2 prototype and competed in the Spanish Championship. As a substitute, he drove two races in the 250cc World Championship in Lake Balaton ring team at the Dutch TT at Assen, where he finished fourth, and at the Sachsenring, where he finished in seventh place. In Indianapolis and Misano, he represented Mika Kallio, who, in turn, the diseased Casey Stoner took the Ducati factory team, the team Pramac Racing Ducati Desmosedici GP9 on a in the MotoGP class. His performance in the two races earned him a contract on this team for the 2010 season as the successor of Niccolò Canepa one.
