Aleksandr Anufriyev

Alexander Alexandrovich Anufrijew (Russian Александр Александрович Ануфриев; born June 1, 1926 in Dijur, ASSR of Komi; † September 26, 1966 in Naryan -Mar, Autonomous district Nenets ) was a star border for the USSR track and field athlete, who in the early 1950s was successful as a long distance runner. He won an Olympic bronze medal.

Anufrijew lived from 1936 in Naryan -Mar and started for the DSG Trud and for Torpedo Gorky. It was founded in 1948 Master of the Russian SSR.
