Aleksandr Rymanov

Alexander Anatoljevich Rymanov (Russian Александр Анатольевич Рыманов; born August 25, 1959 in Moscow, Soviet Union ) is a former Russian handball player and coach.

Already with eight years Rymanov started playing handball at CSKA Moscow. With his home club of the district runner won multiple Soviet Championship and the 1986 European Cup Winners' Cup and the 1988 European Cup of Champions competition. After 21 years he left Moscow in 1989 to Germany and moved to the second Handball - Bundesliga OSC Rheinhaus with which he managed to climb to the top flight in 1993. After the immediate re descent he trailed off his playing career and was an assistant coach. After several coach stations in the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga, the graduate sports teacher was 2012 new assistant coach of the Russian national team after Euro.

The Soviet national team of the 206- times capped international was at the Men's Handball World Championship men's World Champion in 1982 and won at the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988 the gold medal.
