Aleksandr Zarkhi

Alexander Grigoryevich Sarchi (Russian Александр Григорьевич Зархи; * 5 Februarjul / February 18 1908greg in Saint Petersburg, Russian Empire, .. † January 27, 1997 in Moscow) was a Russian film director and screenwriter.

In 1969, the title People's Artist of the USSR awarded him. His film Twenty-six days in the life of Dostoevsky was nominated at the 31st International Film Festival in Berlin for the Golden Bear.
