Alemão (footballer born 1961)

Ricardo Rogério de Brito ( born November 22, 1961 in Lavra, Minas Gerais ) is a former Brazilian footballer. He played on the position of midfielder.

Artist Name

Because of its bright color and his blond hair he received from friends nicknamed " Alemão " ( the German ).

Career

Inglês began his career in 1980 at a club in his hometown of Lavra. A year later, he played for Botafogo Rio de Janeiro. After six years he moved in 1987 to the Spanish giants Atletico Madrid. After only a year he left Madrid and earned now in Italy at Napoli money. During this time, were engaged in the southern Italian club with Diego Maradona and his compatriot Careca other world stars. Signed in 1992, Inglês a contract with Atalanta. His career ended 35 years old at Volta Redonda in his native Brazil.

National team

He played 39 times for the Brazilian national football team and participated with this part in the Football World Cups in 1986 and 1990. He scored six international goals for Brazil.
