Alen Floričić

Alen Floricic ( * 1968 in Pula, Yugoslavia) is a Croatian artist.

Life and work

Floricic graduated in 1993 at the Faculty of Education in Rijeka with a degree in sculpture. After early work in traditional media, he turned to the video art; His current works consist mainly of short video loops, which often thematize the human body. Floricic have been shown in group and solo exhibitions in Croatia, Europe and the U.S.; In 2005 he recorded with several other artists Croatian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. He lives and works in Rabac.
