Alessandro Piccinini

Alessandro Piccinini ( born December 30, 1566 Bologna, † 1638 ibid ()? ) Was an Italian lutenist, composer and Theorbenspieler.

Alessandro Piccinini grew up in a musical family and received here, along with his brothers Filippo and Girolamo, his training from his father Leonardo Maria. 1597 he was appointed at the papal legate in Bologna as a lutenist, which he held until his death.
