Alex Da Silva (dancer)

Alex Da Silva ( born March 27, 1968 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian dancer and choreographer specializing in Salsa dancing. He has become known as a jury member for the TV series " So You Think You Can Dance " in the United States.

Life

Since his 20th birthday Da Silva dances salsa and is co-founder of the Los Angeles Salsa Style. His dance teacher career began in San Francisco, California. In the years 2002 and 2007 he won the World Salsa Championships.

Silva was arrested on 4 April 2009, since, because he allegedly lured and raped several women in 2009, between May 2003 and March in his apartment.
