Alejandro Fernández Iglesias (usually only Álex; born 15 October 1992 in Alcalá de Henares ) is a Spanish football player. His preferred position is central midfield. He is currently under contract at Espanyol Barcelona.

Career

The first stations of Álex Fernández as a junior were the clubs of his hometown AD Complutense and RSD Alcalá. In the summer of 2005, the then 12 -year-old moved to the offspring of Real Madrid. The Brussels residents, he held various ages and won 2009/10 with the A- youth the Spanish Championship, before he was in season 2010/11 part of the squad of Real Madrid Castilla, the second team of the club.
