Alex Gough (squash player)

Alex Gough ( born December 8, 1970 in Newport ) is a former Welsh squash players.

Career

In 1993, Alex Gough his Tour debut. In his career he won a total of four PSA titles and reached fifth place in July 1998, its highest ranking in the world rankings. Among his greatest achievements include second place at the World Team Championship in 1999 and the World Team Championship in 1997. He participated with the team in numerous other championships, including the World Championships in 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2007. At the 1998 Commonwealth Games won Alex Gough the bronze medal in singles. In 2008 he announced his retirement from the professional tour known, but continued to play for the Welsh national team or in the English Premier League.

Alex Gough is since June 2008, Managing Director of the PSA.
