Alex O'Brien

Alex O'Brien ( born March 7, 1970 in Amarillo, Texas ) is a former American professional tennis player.

Career

His only individual titles on the ATP Tour, he won in 1996 in New Haven, reaching the following year with number 30 his highest individual ranking in the tennis world rankings. Successful O'Brien was in a double, where he was able to win 13 titles, including the U.S. Open in 1999 with Sébastien Lareau and in the same year the double World Cup. He also reached 20 other finals of double competitions, including twice at the Australian Open, and one each at U.S. Open and double World Cup. In the double rating in the world rankings, he was in 2000 for a total of five weeks, the number one in the world.
