Alexander Bashlachev

Alexander Baschlatschow (Russian Александр Николаевич Башлачёв; born May 27, 1960 in Cherepovets, † February 17, 1988 in Leningrad) was a Russian poet, song writer and singer. He applies despite his early death as one of the most influential representatives of the Russian-speaking rock music.

Life

From 1977 to 1978 worked as an artist in Baschlatschow Tscherepowezer Metallurgical Combine. From 1978 to 1983 he studied at the State University of the Ural region in Sverdlovsk at the Journalism Faculty. After graduating, he returned to Cherepovets, where he works at the newspaper communist. In September 1983, he learned about the journalist Leonid Parfyonov the music critic Troitsky Artemi know on whose invitation he carried out a series of " home " concerts in Moscow and Leningrad. In the fall of 1984 left Baschlatschow Tscherepowez first he traveled to Moscow, then to Leningrad.

In March 1985, Baschlatschows first public appearance took place in Leningrad, where he performed together with Yuri Shevchuk, head of the band DDT, in the Auditorium number 6 of the Leningrad Veterinary Institute. At the same time Baschlatschow recorded his first album. The recording was organized by the head of the Sound Archive of the Leningrad rock club Sergei Firsov in the home studio of the song writers, singer and Tonregisseurs Alexei Wischnja. Later the title Tretya this recording received Stolitsa (Third Capital ). From this point, Firsov saw as Baschlatschows Manager.

The following year Baschlatschow settled finally on to Leningrad, where he became a member of the Leningrad rock club.
