Alexander Dianin
Alexander Pavlovich Dianin (Russian Александр Павлович Дианин; born April 8, 1851 in Dawydowo; † December 6, 1918 in Petrograd ) was a Russian chemist.
Life
Dianin studied chemistry at the University of Jena and at the Imperial Medical - Surgical Academy in St. Petersburg. He first synthesized the chemical compound Bisphenol A. Dianin was married to a daughter of the Russian chemist and physician Alexander Borodin Porfirjewitsch.
