Alexander Kaiser

Alexander Kaiser ( born February 26, 1819 in Graz, † October 25, 1872 ) was an Austrian painter and lithographer.

Life

Emperor Alexander was the second son of Emperor Franz Joseph Buchbinder, owner of a lithographic Institute in Graz. As a young boy, the talented boy busy with drawing and apparently got in his father's operation, a first training as a lithographer.

Together with his brother Edward, he later attended the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts and was afterwards mainly worked as a lithographer of city views. Particularly significant are manufactured by it views the cities of Brno, Linz, Salzburg and Innsbruck. Furthermore, lithographed Kaiser several art sheets after the originals painter Friedrich Gauermann, Ignaz Raffalt and Nicolas -Marie -Joseph Chapuy, which he had to offer mainly about the art publishing Paterno.
