Alexander Moosbrugger

Alexander Moosbrugger ( born August 21, 1972 at the Bregenz Forest ) is an Austrian composer.

Life and work

Alexander Moosbrugger studied at the Vorarlberg State Conservatory organ and harpsichord at the University of Vienna and philosophy at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. He lived in Berlin since 2001.

Compositions

Moosbrugger pieces composed mostly of board composition in particular for string quartet. Prior to a composition Moosbrugger woven auditory and non- auditory sources into one another. He developed his own intonation systems based " rekonzipierter instrumental practice."
