Alexander von Humboldt Schule Montréal

The German International School " Alexander von Humboldt" Montreal, Montreal abbreviated Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, is an independent private school in Baie- d'Urfe in Montreal (Quebec ) Canada.

The school has about 300 students from kindergarten through 12th grade with extended in scientific and artistic subjects. It was founded in 1980 and belongs to a network of recognized German schools worldwide that are supported by the Federal Republic of Germany. In the rankings for over 600 public and private schools in Québec, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation for years occupied places in the top five percent.

We teach according to the German curriculum, which meets all official specifications of both Germany and Québec. Apart from middle school ( lower secondary ) and the Diplôme d' études secondaires, students have since May 2010, the opportunity to sit at the end of 12th grade, the German International Abitur ( diap ) ( upper secondary education). In the 11th grade, students have the opportunity to take the German Language Diploma.
