Alexandra Lacrabère

Alexandra Lacrabère (* April 27, 1987 in Pau, France ) is a French handball player. She plays the French first division side Union Mios Biganos / Begles and in the French national handball team.

Lacrabère initially played with the French clubs Bordes Sports Handball and CA Bèglais handball. In the 2008 /09 season, the left-hander was at the Spanish club Akaba Bera Bera under contract by which they participated in the EHF Cup. Then Lacrabère returned to France to Toulouse HB. A year later joined the backcourt player Arvor to 29, with whom she won the 2012 French championship. Then she moved to the Russian Zvezda Zvenigorod club. In 2013 she signed a contract with the French first division side Union Mios Biganos / Begles.

Lacrabère completed so far 133 appearances for the French selection. With the French Équipe 2008 she took part in the Olympic Games, finishing in 5th place. At the 2011 World Championships she became Vice World Champion. Lacrabère also took part in the 2006 European Championships, 2010 European Championships and 2013 World Championships. In summer 2012 she participated at the Olympic Games in London.
