Alexandru Suvorov

Alexandru Suvorov ( also: Alexandr Suvorov ) (born 2 February 1987 in Chişinău, Moldavian SSR, Soviet Union ) is a Moldovan footballer.

Career

Suvorov was already in the 2002/03 season his professional debut as a striker for Sheriff Tiraspol. In the Moldovan giants, he spent most of his career so far, only in 2008, he played on loan at FC Tiraspol. During the 2009/10 season, he finally moved to KS Cracovia Kraków in the Polish Ekstraklasa. In late November 2012, he announced his contract expiring at the end of 2012 not to renew. First, Suvorov was without a club before he returned to his home and at Academia UTM Chişinău signed a one year contract.

Suvorov is known for his powerful left foot and an integral part of the Moldovan national football team.
