Alexis (Spanish footballer)

José Alejandro Suárez Martín named Alexis ( born March 6, 1974 in Las Palmas ) is a Spanish footballer who last played for Real Valladolid in the Spanish Primera División.

Playing career

The beginnings - Canaries

Alexis launched his career as a footballer in his hometown at UD Las Palmas. In his first season as a professional he already rose División from with his crew from the Segunda. After three years in the 3rd League Alexis moved 1995 on the Spanish Erstligisten CD Tenerife. In his first season he reached the UEFA Cup with the island - kickers. In the season 1998/99 Alexis had to compete División with his crew the aisle into the Segunda.

After a year in which Tenerife newly positioned itself, 2000/2001 succeeded the re- ascent still before Atlético Madrid thanks to to the better goal. Lange of the success however not stopped at, so that already after one year with space 19 decency the descent. In the renewed second division - year Alexis reached with his team only a single center field place so that he decided to convert the club after eight years leaving to.

Ascents and descents

In summer 2003, Alexis moved to second division rivals Levante. With the Ostspaniern he popped straight as a table first again. Once again, Alexis was with his team, in which he had a regular place, not happy long for success. In the following season one rose namely as Third Most Recent already off again. Nevertheless Alexis remained in Valencia. His loyalty was rewarded with the renewed rise. After he had lost his place, Alexis went in 2007 to newly promoted Real Valladolid.
