Alford (Lincolnshire)
Alford is a country town in East Lindsey District of Lincolnshire. It has about 3,500 inhabitants.
Geography
Alford is located about 40 km as the crow southeast of Grimsby, 55 km east of Lincoln.

Traffic
Five kilometers west of Alford extends the A- road A16 ( Grimsby - Stamford ), on which are found in both directions following the road network.
The city was a stop at the decommissioned as part of the Beeching Axe in 1970 East Lincolnshire Railway, which ran from Grimsby to Boston via Louth.
