Alfred Klingler

Alfred Klingler ( born October 25, 1912 in Leipzig, † unknown ) was a German field handball player.

Alfred Klingler played for the Police SV Castle, Spvgg Leipzig, the police SV Hamburg, Magdeburg Police SV and MSV Weissenfels; with Magdeburg he was German champion in 1935.

At the Olympic Games in 1936, Klingler was with in three matches of the German national team, in which he scored a total of 17 goals. When 10:6 victory in the final against Austria, he met four times to score. Two years after the Olympic victory, he participated in the first field 's Handball World Championship for Men 1938, also here the German team won the title. Overall, Klingler was from 1934 to 1939 in twelve countries play with.
