Alfredo Maria Bonanno ( born 1937 in Catania ) is an Italian Insurrektionalist.

Alfredo Bonanno was sentenced to one and a half years in prison for his 1977 published book The armed joy and the plant has been removed from libraries.

He was among the hundreds of Italian anarchists who were arrested on the night of June 19, 1997, when the Italian police nationwide in anarchist centers and private homes due to an assassination attempt on the Palazzo Milano on 25 April 1997 led raids. On February 2, 2003 Bonanno was sentenced to six years in prison and 3,000 euro fine for armed robbery and other offenses. That judgment was given in connection with the method of Marini, were convicted in the Italian anarchists because of belonging to an armed group whose leader was Bonanno.

On October 4, 2009 Bonanno was arrested with the Greek anarchist Christos Stratigopolous in central Greece Trikala on suspicion of armed bank robbery, was sentenced in November 2010 to four years in prison and released because of his age. Christos was sentenced to eight years and nine months in prison. 46,900 euro cash were found in their vehicle.

Thinking

Alfredo Bonanno promoted in his works, especially the self-assembled, individual and independent armed uprising and is regarded as one of the key representatives of the insurgent anarchism or Insurrektionalismus. He describes capitalism as a " project of death" and sets the " joy of living" compared to that should manifest itself in the armed resistance of the individual. He paints a dystopian picture of the society in which is now the right moment for riots because the prisons would be first in Spezialknäste for revolutionaries, then in flagship prisons and finally transform into veritable warehouse for manipulation of the brains and finally in lunatic asylums. Hierarchical organizations such as the Red Brigades he rejects as an armed party.

Anarchism anarchist understands Bonanno than primarily as a transformation process and only secondarily as a political ideology. Anarchism is permanent for him reflection and resulting personal and social change. On Liberals and supporters of democracy Bonanno criticized their restricted utopia that appears for example in Erstrebung the minimum State and greater freedom, but not freedom itself, which he defined as infinity. The same applies to the control, minimize the Democrats, but anarchists wanted to abolish. Anarchists were also the only activists in which there is no opposition between theory and practice and the anarchist claim could be implemented spontaneously in the immediate environment.

The anarcho-syndicalism and his firm, members strongest possible organization as a union understands Bonanno as outdated concept of a single, fixed to the working age. The contemporary society is based on tele mated technology and society is no longer simply anarchist transform, as was envisaged in the 20th century. This reality is the form of anarchist organization appropriately, which constitutes from informal organization of individual affinity groups. This is, in his words, a group that is also very tiny and consists of a few comrades who know each other well and is a group that meets to discuss, but contributes about discussions to develop the discussion (...) in order to transform itself in another moment in practice.
