Algeciras CF

Algeciras CF is a Spanish football club based in the Andalusian town of Algeciras. The club was founded in 1912 playing in the 2008/ 09 season in the Tercera División.

History

The Andalusian club Algeciras CF was established in 1912. It should last until the season 1956/57, to the Andalusians were able for the first time in the Segunda División compete. In the meantime nine seasons Algeciras was represented in the Spanish second division.

Stadium

Algeciras CF plays in the Estadio Nuevo Mirador, which has a capacity of 7,500 spectators. The stadium is one of the newer of its kind and was inaugurated in 1999.
