Ali Ezzine

Ali Ezzine ( born September 3, 1978 in Ain Taouajtat to Meknes ) is a Moroccan obstacle and long distance runners.

At the World Cross Country Championships he came on short-haul routes in 1998 on the twelfth and 2000 to 13th place. At the World Athletics Championships in 1999 in Seville, he won the bronze medal over 3000 m steeplechase.

Also he won bronze in the same discipline at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney behind the Kenyans Reuben Kosgei and Wilson Boit Kipketer, and at the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton, he won silver.

In the 2004 Olympics he finished in eighth place.

His best time of 8:03,57 min, placed on 23 June 2000 in Paris, is still the second best that has ever been achieved by a non- originating from Kenya runners.
