Alice Blom

Alice Blom ( born April 7, 1980 in Oudeschild, Netherlands) is a Dutch volleyball player.

Career

Alice Blom started the volleyball in her home at Tevoko Texel. In 1996 she came to the Dutch first division Olympus Sneek. In 2000, she moved to league rivals VV Pollux Oldenzaal, with whom she was in the following years three times Dutch champion and twice won the cup. 2003 went Alice Blom in the German Bundesliga champions SSV Ulm aliud pharma. After his withdrawal, she moved to league rivals USC Münster, with whom she was German champion in 2005 and won the DVV Cup. 2005/ 06 they played in Italy Yamamay Busto Arsizio. She then returned for two years in their home country, where she was the 2007 and 2008 champion and cup winner with Martinus Amstelveen. Then it pulled Alice Blom back to Italy, this time to MC- Carnaghi Villa Cortese. In 2009 she went to Turkey for Fenerbahce, with whom she was Turkish champion and cup winner and was also the final of the Champions League. Since 2010 she plays in Azerbaijan for Baku Igtisadchi.

Alice Blom played 315 times in the Dutch national team. She participated in four European championships and three world championships. With the Netherlands Blom won the Grand Prix in 2007. During the 2009 European Championships she reached the final.
