Alien Breed

Alien Breed is an action video game series, first published in 1991.

The British software house Team 17 brought out the game for the Amiga and the PC. The game was developed by Andreas Tadic, the design is by Rico Holmes.

Game Description

In the game you fight in the bird's eye view through several levels of a space station that is infested by bloodthirsty aliens. At scattered within the game computer terminals you can buy with points earned by new weapons and health bonuses. Atmospheric game is closely related to the movie Aliens - The Return ajar. The graphics and the sound effects were very well done for their time. Alien Breed was one of the first games that exploited the memory expansion of the Amiga to 1 MB, or presupposed. In the following years, several successors came on the market, including the Special Edition 92, Alien Breed 2, Alien Breed: Tower Assault and Alien Breed 3D ( 1995).

Remakes

In December 2009, the title Alien Breed Evolution for the Xbox 360 Technically, appeared on Xbox Live Arcade this is based on the Unreal Engine, the appearance leans with a view obliquely from above, however, at the arcade, past the predecessors. In June 2010 Alien Breed Evolution was named Alien Breed: Impact released on Steam. A publication in the shop of the PlayStation Network followed on 1 September 2010 the end of September 2010, the successor to Alien Breed 2 appeared. Assault in the Steam network, and mid-November 2010 with Alien Breed 3: Descent of the third part of the trilogy, also on Steam. The second and the third part use the Unreal Engine 3
