Alina Bronsky

Alina Bronsky (* 1978 in Sverdlovsk, Soviet Union; pseudonym ) is a German writer.

Life

Growing up is Bronsky claims to be on the Asian side of the Urals and in Marburg and Darmstadt. Her father is of Jewish ancestry and emigrated with his family in the early 1990s as a quota refugee to Germany. After a broken medical studies she worked as a copywriter and editor at the Darmstadt echo. Alina Bronsky is a mother of four children. The father of her first three children crashed in January 2012 fatal in the Valais Alps. She lives in Berlin -Charlottenburg with Ulrich Noethen. The couple has a daughter.

Her debut novel Scherbenpark aroused great public interest. The novel was nominated in the category " YA " ( Critics Jury) with the German Youth Literature Award 2009 and for the aspects Prize for Literature. He appeared as a play and was filmed with Jasna Fritzi Bauer in the lead role.

Bronskys second factory The hottest dishes of the Tartar cuisine was on the longlist for the German Book Prize 2010.
