Aline de Lima

Aline de Lima ( born October 23, 1978 in Caxias, Maranhão ) is a Brazilian singer, songwriter and composer.

Life

After she first started training as a web designer, Aline de Lima turned encourages by saxophonist Frank Chatona the music. Their first CD, Arrebol, was in New York produced by Vinicius Cantuária, considered the reviver of the Bossa Nova. As a musician, drummer Paulo Braga next to ( who has played with Antonio Carlos Jobim ) and the avant-garde guitarist Marc Ribot was there. Was published in 2006 Arrebol on the French independent label Naïve, which also Cantuária and Carla Bruni to be laid. In addition to ten original songs by Aline de Lima, the CD also includes a cover version of the French title " Septembre " by Barbara.

She sings a duet with the Swedish singer Johan Christher contactor on the CD Blissa Nova as a guest, released in 2007 on the Swedish record label Terrinha.

Their second CD Açaí appears on 8 April 2008 in France. It was co-produced by the Japanese trumpeter, composer and arranger June Miyake, who with the album Innocent Bossa in the Mirror (2002) and has proven through collaboration with the guitarist Arto Lindsay Noice as a connoisseur of Brazilian music. Açaí contains titles in portuguese also a song in French - Marin- Pecheur ( Fisherman ), text by Aline de Lima - and one in Swedish - Som Om Ingenting Har Hänt, Words and Music by JC Schütz.

2011 Aline de Lima published their third album " Maritima " which she took up on their own label Arrebol Music himself, has arranged and produced. Only with a laptop, some microphones and a Mini M-Box, she took on the thirteen songs on the album with a total of 14 musicians from Rio de Janeiro, São Luís and Paris. " Maritima " contains with " To Mar de Mar" a cover of the Cape Verdean artist and current Minister of Culture Mário Lúcio, with the de Lima also the song " Lua de Janeiro" wrote together. With the also Paris-based Brazilian singer and guitarist Marcio Faraco, she composed the song " Madrugada " and there is in "Flor de Brasilia " a beautiful duet with the singer Flavia Bittencourt from de Lima's home state of Maranhão.

Aline de Lima has been living in Paris in 2000, before she had lived two years in Stockholm.
