Aliou Mahamidou

Aliou Mahamidou ( born June 7, 1947 in Tahoua, † January 13, 1996 in Niamey ) was a Nigerien industrialist and politician. He was Prime Minister from 1990 to 1991 in his country.

Life

Aliou Mahamidou attended schools in his native town of Tahoua and the National Lycée in Niamey, where in 1968 he made ​​his baccalauréat. From 1969 to 1974 he studied at the National University of the Ivory Coast and the University of Rouen in France. He completed his studies with a Licence in Economics. Mahamidou first worked from 1974 to 1975 as head of section for industry in the Niger Ministry of Development. After further training at the Institut International d'Administration Publique in Paris, he joined in 1977 in the service of the Nigerien Ministry of Planning.
