Reviews

Stephen Thomas Erlewine of Allmusic writes that All I Ever Wanted less gloomy than its predecessor My December was indeed the album but still let the rocking elements not entirely ignored. He praises the versatility of the artist and says that Clarkson's voice on the best sword in the undertones of guitars voluminous choruses. Erlewine concludes that Kelly Clarkson possesses a rare talent, and that the album satisfy the skills of the artist over long distances. The music magazine Rolling Stone notes that the hit single My Life Would Suck Without You and her 2004's hit Since U Been Gone were very similar and attributes this to the involvement of the Swedish producer Max Martin. This makes the reviewer at the same time as a biggest criticism of the album. Noticed Dani Fromm of laut.de that Kelly Clarkson can not demonstrate their vocal abilities at the louder passages, as well as the songs would resemble each other very much.
