Alliance of Democrats

The Alliance of Democrats (English Alliance of Democrats; French Alliance mondiale des démocrates, lit World Alliance of Democrats ) was a global work community of democratic, centrist parties.

The Alliance of Democrats in particular belonged to the Democratic Party of the United States of America, the European Democratic Party and the Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats. Overall, the association consisted of 60 member parties.

The alliance was founded in 2005 and conducted jointly by François Bayrou, Francesco Rutelli and Ellen Tauscher. The Alliance presented the 2012 work.
