Alligny-Cosne

Alligny- Cosne is a commune with 857 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Nièvre in the Burgundy region.

Location

The community is located 10 km east of the Loire at the height of the city Cosne- Cours- sur -Loire, where the highway 77 passes.

Viniculture

Part of the agricultural land is used for growing grapes. The vineyards of the community are associated with the protected AOC Coteaux du Giennois, which is part of the Loire wine region.
