Allvelo

Allmänna Velocipedförsäljnings AB was a Swedish company.

Company History

The company based in Landskrona was founded in 1890 to import bikes. 1903 or 1904 began production of automobiles. The brand name was Allvelo or All- bike. 1906 or 1907 production ended after about 50 copies produced. The company sold until 1916 bikes.

Rolling stock

The company produced by a license from the Waltham Manufacturing Company whose model Orient Buckboard and drove it as Allvelo Orient. For driving caused an air-cooled single-cylinder engine and friction drive. The brake acted only on the right rear wheel. Another model, called Allvelo Orel, Orel corresponded to the French. In 1907, a self-developed prototype, which, however, was no longer in production.
