Alois Beranek

Alois Beranek (born 15 January 1900 in Vienna, † 22 May 1983) was an Austrian football referee.

Alois Beranek had been to his time as an external rotor 1927-1929 regular players of the ASV Hertha Vienna, who played at this time in the First League. Subsequently, he was referee, conducted regularly from 1930 to 1954 games in the highest Austrian league and the FA Cup final in 1946. Alois Beranek was soon a renowned man, headed 22 internationals, 11 Mitropacupspiele and participated in the World Championships 1934, 1938 and 1950, in part. 1955/56, he was in charge also from January to March 1956 the SK Rapid Vienna as a coach, it has been this season Austrian champion.
