Aloys I, Prince of Liechtenstein
Joseph Alois I of Liechtenstein ( born May 14, 1759 in Vienna, † March 24 1805 in Vienna) was the ninth reigning Prince of Liechtenstein from 1781 to 1805.
Life
He succeeded his father as Prince Franz Josef I and reigning master of the house Liechtenstein after his death on August 18, 1781.
After his death, was succeeded by his younger brother Johann I Joseph as the Prince of Liechtenstein. His grave is located in the crypt of the House of Liechtenstein in Vranov u Brna ( Moravia ).
Family
Alois married on 16 November 1783 Caroline Engelberte Felicitas to Manderscheid - Blankenheim, a daughter of Count Johann Wilhelm zu Manderscheid - Blankenheim. The marriage remained childless.
