Alpaslan Öztürk

Öztürk in a U-21 National team (2013 )

Alpaslan Öztürk (* July 16, 1993 in Antwerp ) is a Belgian- Turkish football player.

Career

Association

Öztürk came as the son of parents of Turkish origin in Antwerp, Belgium on the world. Here he began to club football in the youth departments of various teams, including at Berchem Sport and Germinal Beerschot. In 2009, he joined with a professional contract provided in the youth from the English Premier League club Birmingham City. Here he played a season in the youth and was inducted into the first team in 2011. For the summer of 2011 he moved without having previously completed a competitive match for Birmingham to his previous club, which had meanwhile been renamed from Germinal Beerschot in Beerschot AC. Changed due Beerschot he made it quickly to the root formation of the professional team.

On June 13, 2013 it was announced that Alpaslan Öztürk moved to Standard Liege and he signed a five-year contract with them.

Öztürk joined for the second half of the season 2013/14 as Players out on loan in the Turkish Süper Lig on Kasımpaşa Istanbul.

National

Öztürk's national career began in 2010 in the Turkish U-18 national team. After just two games for the Turkish U-18, he decided in future to play for the Belgian national teams. He played between 2010 and 2012 several times for the Belgian U18 and the Belgian U-19 national team. From 2012 he began to play for the Belgian U-21 national team.

In December 2012, it was announced that Alpaslan Öztürk has opted for the Turkish national team. When he had talks with leaders of the Turkish Football Association a year ago, he was impressed by the commitment that they change his mind and he returns to play for the Turkish national team. Öztürk had swayed and said he wanted to play again in the future for Turkey, because he would rather come to inserts. Subsequently, Alpaslan Öztürk was appointed in February 2013 for the first time in the U-21 team in Turkey, but he did not play. Later, nominated in March 2013 in the wake of two test matches in the squad of the Turkish U-20 national team and completed both games.

As part of the U-20 World Cup in 2013 he was appointed to the tournament line-up of the Turkish U-20 national team.
