Alpha Sagittae

Sagittae α (alpha Sagittae, α Sge ) is a yellow giant of spectral type G0 in the constellation Sagitta. It has an apparent magnitude of 4.4 mag and is approximately 425 light years from Earth.

The star bears the historical proper names Sham or Alsahm ( from the Arabic for " arrow" ).
