Alps Tour

The Alps Tour is a tournament series of the third power level for professional golfers who will be supported and recognized by the national golf federations of France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and Morocco. It is a part of the Satellite tour, which in addition to the Alps Tour, the EPD Tour, the Nordic League and the PGA Tour Europro count. The tournament series formerly known as the " Third Level Tours" have joined forces in April 2006 Satellite Tour.

In the 2007 season the Alps Tour events are held in the countries of the five associations. There are 2007 about 22 tournaments with a prize of € 1 million. A large part of the player's field comes from the participating countries. The first 5 of the Tour rating get a restricted eligibility to play for the Challenge Tour and also starting positions for the second stage ( Stage 2 ) of the 3 -stage qualifying school, where also a certain quota on some more, directly behind binned player for Stage 2 will be made available.
