Alte Brennerei Schwake

The Old Distillery Schwake in Ennigerloh is a former distillery.

Due to the well-preserved buildings, the building was rebuilt in the 1980s for its current provision and to create a residential building. Only in the entrance hall still remember a Destillierbatterie and transmission shafts and wheels to the former usage.

Today, located on the second floor of the former distillery two cinemas with a small screening room. Furthermore, the old distillery is a regional cultural and meeting center today. The building has a cabaret theater and cabaret performances. Likewise, it serves as an exhibition, for example, for art exhibitions.

Since 2003 is here every year Ennigerloher the sealing ring ( Poetry Slam ) held a contest about words for all amateur poets from the region.
