Altinözü is a Turkish city and an administrative district in the province of Hatay in the eastern Mediterranean to the Syrian border. The city has 2008 7.428 inhabitants, the county 63 117, of which a majority are Alawite and Sunni Arabs. Tokaçlı and Sarilarmahallesi are the Christian villages in Altinözü.

Economically, agriculture, mainly wheat, tobacco, barley, fruits and vegetables spices and olive oil extraction of meaning.
