Altsevo peat narrow gauge railway

The Torfbahn Alzewo is a closed narrow gauge railway in the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast in Russia. Opened after the project starting in 1962 and construction in 1964 in the 1966 route with a track width of 750 mm connects the urban-type settlement Pischma with the peat bog Alzewski Moch, after the current operator Alzewo - peat (Russian: ООО « Альцево - торф " GmbH ) is named. It serves the transportation of peat in the 2005 built new Torfverarbeitungsfabrik as well as workers.
