Alumniportal Deutschland

The Alumni Portal Germany is a non-profit site for professional and personal networking of Germany - alumni. Germany - alumni are all people worldwide who studied in Germany or at a German institution abroad, research, work, a Further training has completed a language course or a visitor travel. The Alumni Portal is open to all alumni, regardless of whether the stay in Germany was funded by a German organization or self-funded.

With the extensive network of contacts, the organizations involved can coordinate their alumni work better. In addition, the potential of the Germany - Alumni for economic cooperation should be made clear. Both alumni and entrepreneurs can find on the portal employees, experts or partners for cooperation.

Origin / history

Alumni work, so working with graduates of education and training, takes place usually almost exclusively within the individual funding organizations. An estimated 80 percent of the foreign graduates, that is, about 14,000 people per year, however, have financed their studies or work abroad themselves ( free movers ). The contact structure on these alumni so far required extensive research.

Against this background, the Alumni Portal Germany was launched. It is in this form, the only portal that unifies the German alumni work and the diverse skills and potential of the Germany - Alumni brings together - for the alumni themselves, for their support organizations and for all other German companies and organizations that need to contact people around the world.
