Ãlvaro Negredo
Álvaro Negredo Sánchez ( born August 20, 1985 in Madrid ) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Manchester City in the English Premier League. Since 2009 he is also active in the Spanish national team.
Playing career
Álvaro Negredo started his career as a football player at third division Rayo Vallecano, for his youth he played. In the 2003 /04 season he moved there on the B team. When he scored 14 goals in 15 games in 2004 / 05, he was first appointed to the first team, which at that time in the third-tier Segunda División B played. In the first twelve games Negredo scored a goal and was then the second division Real Madrid Castilla, the B- team of the Spanish record champion Real Madrid, obliged. In the 2005/06 season he scored four goals. In the season 2006/ 07 with 18 goals this season, he managed to breakthrough, the B- team of the " Royal " but dismounted.
In summer 2007, Negredo was committed by the first division promoted UD Almería. Real Madrid secured a buy-back option for the striker. With the Andalusians Negredo could convince at first go. Ironically, against his former club Negredo hit in a 2-0 home win Almería on 2 February 2008. In the summer of 2009, Real Madrid made from the repurchase option use, transferred Negredo but before start of the season for 15 million euros to FC Sevilla. In Seville to Negredo developed in the following four years one of the best strikers in the league and was national player. In total he played 139 top-flight appearances for Sevilla, scoring 70 goals.
For the 2013/14 season Negredo changed for 25 million euros to Manchester City in the Premier League. With Sergio Aguero, the Spaniard is one of the most dangerous duos in the Premier League form.
National
Negredo made his debut in the Spanish national team on 10 October 2009 as part of the 2010 World Cup qualifiers in Armenia. In his second on 14 October 2009, he scored against Bosnia and Herzegovina his first two goals for his country.
