Alyssa Naeher

Alyssa Michele Naeher (born 20 April 1988, in Bridgeport ) is an American soccer player. The goalkeeper is on the Boston Breakers in the NWSL under contract.

Career

Closer began her career at Christian Heritage High School, where she received several awards as best player. She also played for the basketball team. Between 2006 and 2009 she played in 74 games for the Penn State Nittany Lions, the team at Pennsylvania State University.

In 2010, she was selected in the Draft of the U.S. professional league Women's Professional Soccer (WPS ) as the Eleventh of the Boston Breakers.
