The Alytaus Arena is a sports center in the sixth largest Lithuanian city of Alytus. The Alytaus Arena is located in the street Naujoji g 52 It is the home of the basketball team BC Alytus ( LKL and BBL ). The operator of the Arena is a public institution ( Alytaus sporto ir rekreacijos centras ).

History

In 2009 started the construction project and on 23 October they reached the highest point of construction. The arena was built by the company UAB " structuralist ".

On 12 February 2011, the arena was opened.

From August 2011 to September 2011 found here the matches of the preliminary round Group C of the FIBA EuroBasket 2011.
