Amalia Wilhelmina Königsmarck

Amalie Wilhelmine Countess of Königsmarck (* about 1663 in Stade, † 1740) was the daughter of the Swedish General Kurt Christoph Graf von Königsmarck from the famous family of the king Marcks. She was the sister of the famous by its elimination in Hanover Philipp Christoph von Königsmarck and the mistress of Augustus the Strong, Aurora by Königsmarck.

Amalie Wilhelmine was born on or before 1665 and died a widow of the late 1703 in Hamburg Saxon general of infantry Carl Gustav of lion's head (* 1662) probably until 1737 or later. Their son, the Swedish General Karl Emil Graf von lion's head (* 1691) was beheaded together with General Budde Brock in 1743 in Stockholm because of a lost battle.

Amalie Wilhelmine lived after her husband's death in pretty broken home in Bederkesa and was often referred to as " the old Löwenhauptsche " in the Hanoverian files.
