Amanda Bearse
Amanda Bearse ( born August 9, 1958 in Winter Park, Florida) is an American actress and director.
Life
Bearse studied after high school, first in English literature and drama with Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York. She then trained as a director at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles and working as an actress at the Theatre Off- Broadway.
As an actress Bearse received her first major role in the long-lived soap opera All My Children, in which she portrayed Amanda Cousins 1982-1984. International recognition it reached in 1987 for her role as Marcy Rhoades -d'Arcy in the U.S. sitcom Married with Children ( Married ... With Children ), in which they said misanthropic anti-hero and a shoe salesman Al Bundy ten years as performance-based bank clerk the made life difficult. In the cinema, she was a leading lady next to Roddy McDowall as scary vampire hunter in the horror comedy Fright Night - to see Fright Night (1985). 1993 Bearse has outed himself as gay, not least in connection with her performance in " Out There 2 ", a stand-up comedy production with other lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual comedians. She lives in Los Angeles with their two adopted daughters and their long-term partner, who she married in 2010.
