Amar Ben Belgacem
Amar Ben Belgacem AMAR ( عمار بن بلقاسم ) named, ( born June 18, 1979 in Paris, † August 25, 2010 ) was a French- Tunisian painter.
Life
Amar was born in 1979 as son of Tunisian parents. In 1984 his parents decided him - along with his brothers and sisters - to send in Hammamet to school. Up to the age of 19 he lived in his parents' villa in Hammamet, which he himself described as " artistic ".
The Tunisian painter Aly Ben Salem lived near this house. As Amar started painting at the age of ten years, he received advice and encouragement from Aly Ben Salem. Amar stayed with the painting and could open as early as 1993 his first exhibition in Hammamet.
At the age of 19, he chose Paris as his principal residence and concentrated on art. He had outstanding success: His works have been exhibited in over 20 countries, including France, Italy, Egypt, Japan and the United States.
According to his official website, he died at the age of 31 on the night of 24 to 25 August 2010. Other sources give the date of death on 6 September. The exact circumstances of his death are still unclear ( as of 11 September 2010).
He was buried on September 10, 2010 in Hammamet.
Amar Ben Belgacem was a member of the International Association of Plastic Arts, the European Association for Plastic Arts, the International Academy " Lutece ", the association of visual artists of Tunisia and the Association of the plastic artists of Hammamet.

On 2 August 2006 he was given the rank of " Officer for Cultural Merit " by the Minister of Culture and Preservation of the State of Tunisia awarded.
