Amateur radio international operation

HAREC is the abbreviation for " Harmonized Amateur Radio Examination Certificate".

The European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT ) has taken care of with the reciprocity agreements T / R 61-01 different European countries that the national amateur radio certificates are mutually recognized.

This allows the amateur radio operator without additional approval, radio operation in the countries that are beigetretenenen the Agreement to perform. With the administrative rulings 10 and 11 from the year 2005 this provision was part of the Amateur Radio Ordinance ( AFuV ) and thus transposed into German law.

The German Amateur Radio Approval of Class A corresponds to the CEPT radio amateur license in accordance with CEPT Recommendation T / R 61-01. An amateur radio approval of the German class E does not satisfy the requirements of HAREC.
